Ideation, new product / service / brand development…

e-workshops are a hybrid methodology which combines e-forums (online bulletin boards / asychronous online focus groups) and e-groups (online focus groups), to facilitate online real-time creative workgroups, for use in new product development and ideation. Ordinarily, e-workshops take place over the course of 2-10 days, and involve an innovation team comprised of 10-25 ‘qualified’ participants (e.g. creative participants, elite users, specialists or opinion leaders), 2 moderators, and a client team of key decision makers associated with the project. Convenient, asynchronous attendance means hard-to-reach groups, and client teams, can participate in the creative process from locations across the globe. It’s also very easy to reconvene your innovation team online at a later date to review ideas and actions.

An e-workshop project splits into two stages. The first uses e-forum bulletin boards for collective, open-ended, brainstorming: to explore objectives / subject area / materials, generate ideas, and identify resonant concepts. In the second stage, co-creative e-groups or wiki labs are then employed to discuss, clarify, and distill, these concepts, till a consensus has been reached about which have the most potential for success.

Our real-time e-workshop service leverages the power of both Rich Focus™, powwow™, and OQ Tips™, to creative an online environment that enables co-creation, the effortless exchange of ideas, images and materials, and the easy management of all insight produced. Over the course of the project you will receive regular synopses from our moderators, and when it is finished, we will send you all outputs together with an expert project summary.
